The journey begins at the lively main square in Niederdorf (1,154 m). From here, you follow the well-marked trail number 15, gently winding through shady woods and blooming meadows until you reach the picturesque Putzalm at 1,743 meters – a perfect spot for a well-deserved break, to enjoy the tranquility, and to take in the magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
The return is comfortably made along the same route. For those wishing to continue, a slightly uphill section leads to Buchsenriedl (1,803 m). From there, the path descends through the charming Kameriot meadows down to Altprags (1,379 m).
Next, you follow the Plätzwiesen road past Plung to the Säge. From there, a pleasant trail number 1 takes you back to Niederdorf in about an hour.
